DMARC has been around since 2012, yet adoption is still below 0.1% across the Internet... and spoofed emails still plague many businesses, damaging brand reputations and cause substantial loss.DMARC’s value as a security measure is widely recognized; governments have mandated it of their agencies and tech companies who have DMARC policies have demonstrated its effectiveness. Still, it has not been enough to increase DMARC adoption.Since 2015 Fraudmarc has been working with industry leaders to provide useful and necessary tools to increase DMARC adoption. In October 2017, Fraudmarc gave away free DMARC reports to ALL users.
Now, Fraudmarc has released its DMARC reports to the entire internet! Introducing Fraudmarc CE, the completely open source version of Fraudmarc's DMARC reports.
Fraudmarc CE provides the tools for advanced users to independently manage and maintain DMARC for their domains. Fraudmarc CE requires some level of technical knowledge for implementation and maintenance. Support for Fraudmarc CE is available through the community forum, community.fraudmarc.com. The public Repository can be found on GitHub.
By releasing Fraudmarc Community Edition and offering free and paid plans, Fraudmarc provides the necessary tools to successfully implement DMARC- driving DMARC adoption across the entire internet. Fraudmarc is spreading adoption of DMARC across the entire internet by providing necessary tooling and a wide variety of products, services, and support ranging from the open source Fraudmarc Community Edition to Enterprise plans. It’s been Fraudmarc’s mission is to make the Internet safer. To do this, we've got a bold strategy that is unique and inspiring and has been developed and executed with one purpose in mind- spread the implementation of DMARC across the web.Given the consequences related to not implementing DMARC and the current level of available tools for DMARC, domain owners have a responsibility to their customer, vendors, and employees to implement DMARC and put an end to email spoofing. Fraudmarc is making it easy to implement SPF, DKIM, and DMARC policies by simplifying the process and offering open source, free, and supported services.
